I would like to compile a list of places that Alt Models can find work. These can include websites, magazines, agencies etc etc. Help spread the love and tell everybody all about it!

retrokitten.com
modelmayhem.com

^^the two main sites that I use.

If a model is in Europe or can travel to Europe once or twice a year, an Alt agency is a great thing to look into. There aren't many here, but a there are quite a few over there. I just got signed by a relatively new British Agency, Rogue Maidens. They were a pay site that also did booking for models on projects and events, but now they're going through a revamp and becoming just an agency.

GodsGirls.com is an awesome place to find some modelling work (if you're comfortable doing nude photos). The community there is great and the models are friendly. I love it there.

Whenever I look for models I always look to Modelmayhem.com I've actually got three casting calls up right now and have hired about 2 photographers and 5 models from it. The only problem is, is that even if you "Cyber-esque models ONLY" Joe blow still contacts you thinking he fits the part with his business suit.

I bit annoying.

MM is always good.

And if you're willing to do a little more hunting and have a myspace up and running, look for a photographer in your area and see who they have in their gallery or in their top friends. Always asking photographers who they know who might suit is best. Because then you know that they come with a photographer's recommendation, and won't just flake/be unprofessional. (which can be an issue in certain areas of the alt. model scene)

Modelmayhem.com mainly,
like some people said above, you have to check into some of them though. I like meeting them before the shoot, it that isn't possible it usually depends.
Ihave porfolios on a lot of other sites WickedTalent.com, net-model, but none of them have really yeilded much work.
