Crazy busy as always with shoots, TVC's, admin, sales, marketing, home and family life.....  I thought I'd share a pic I took while scouting locations for an art sale (another aspect of working life taking over weekends - loving it though).

I worked on the Eynesbury Township TVC today.... long day, early start great crew and had the pleasure of getting to know John Wood.  What a lovely guy.... great sense of humour, calm energy like a rock.  It's nice when you get to meet people who helped shape Australian Television.

We've all been so flat out over the last week, doing the usual production stuff, web stuff, shooting, running weekend courses and preparing for an art exhibition.... I spent the last two days cataloguing. tagging and creating the Certificates of Authenticy for 95 paintings.... Can't wait for Monday when the work week begins again!  Maybe I'll get my usual 6 hours sleep instead of the 3 hours I have been having for the last few days.  I've just found out my Aunty and her son (my cousin) are both ill.  She has Ovarian cancer and went into surgery a couple of days ago and my cousin has been diagnosed with MS at 37.  What a week.

I really shouldn't complain with the way the economic situation is at the moment being busy is better than the alternative... just really tired.  It seems every week is the same and it never ends.  Add a kid and babysitting someone elses two dogs, sorting out the house, cleaning, cooking, washing etc to the mix and its enough to send you crazy.... 

Thank God I have an awsome husband and daughter to keep me happy and sane! : ) ...... Ahhh feel much better, nothing like a bit of blah, blahing to make yourself feel better. ; )

..... Oh I'll regret the hour I woke this morning at about 4 o'clock this afternoon I'm sure!  Happy Easter to all you choc loving, feast eating, alcohol swilling Easter Bunnies!

I rose at 5:30am to hide the chocolate treats round the yard for our little one, who (Bless her) still believes in the Easter Bunny at 7 years old.  I was really tired when going to bed at our usual after midnight hour and thought I'd easily slip back into bed for a few more hours of shut eye...... seemed a good plan but was wide eyed and bushy tailed and couldn't bring myself to sleep again once the task was done.  Oh well I'm sure I'll be sugared up enough today to get me through!

Thinking back on the year that’s been…. Fuck me it was crazy!  I don’t remember ever having a year filled with more achievements, heartaches, great love and great loss than 2008.  

So much change both good and bad, which ultimately led to personal growth so it couldn’t have been all that bad – right?..... Anyway glad to see the arse end of it and hope that next year is a little tamer, more financially rewarding and filled with hope, love, happiness and more of my favourite and most treasured commodity – Time to spare.
