The Alternative Designers Market

Worn Wild – the Alternative Designer’s Market was a huge success with 500 in attendance by 5:30pm (despite the drizzle and Father’s Day lol) and lots of new business and stockist opportunities for the exhibitors. Big thanks and kisses to you all for coming along and making it such a warm and wild mega-event. We loved it!

After polling a variety of exhibitors, audience members and buyers it was almost unanimous that Worn Wild should continue, preferably twice a year. Due to this we’re in the throes of organising a follow-up Worn Wild early next year and will bear exciting news soon. The whip is still cracking! Still no signs of rest either as we’re off to New Zealand this week for the WOW Montana World of Wearable Art Awards then have an event ‘The VnV Boudoir’ in The Melbourne Fringe Festival in October – another Starseeded event!The Worn Wild Web will be updated over the next couple of weeks. We’ve just received all reports from the fashion police and the charges are about to be laid. Thanks so much to the photographers and their lovely assistants on the day.

In media news The Herald Sun featured a snippet on Saturday 6th and a good sized pic of Worn Wild. The Age ran promos on the day and the weekend before. Also RRR pumped out several promos on the day so big kisses to all of them. ‘Superkawaiimama’ has started 

her series of reviews and interviews from Worn Wild and a link is already up on our website. More updates to our media pages will follow.
